I try to do repairs as cheap as possible. I use what I have laying around the garage. I reuse, repurpose, and restore the things I have. I fix things as fast as I can so I do not lose interest in these projects and repairs.
I get a lot of satisfaction when I fix things with little to no money for my repairs. The cheaper the repair, the better. As long as the repair works after I spend time repairing it, its not a big deal. I enjoy the repair process, so if things break from the use of cheap parts, I get to repair it again. It is usually faster to repair something the second time because you will know exactly what to do.
I want to share the knowledge I have regarding repairs. I have no formal training on any of my repairs. I think outside the box and have learned by trial and error. The more mistakes I make, the more I learn. I am still continuously learning every day.
